Meet Caroline Katiyo
Caroline spent 3 years living and working in Harare, Zimbabwe.
While she was there, Caroline established an income-generating arts programme which encouraged teenage boys to leave their lives on the streets, learn a skill and earn an income.
On returning to the UK, Caroline was keen to encourage people to think about the products they buy. She wanted to get people thinking about who made them, and how their purchase of a product has a direct impact on someone else's life, even half-way round the world.
Her love of coffee - the second most traded commodity in the world - led to Caroline establishing Tariro Fairtrade Coffee House in order to promote Fairtrade principles and ethical consumerism within her local community.
